TN PET ASSIST of Tennessee is a non-profit animal rescue organization established in Tennessee for the purpose of providing medical and financial assistance to pet owners of dogs and cats to prevent cruelty. TN PET ASSIST expertise is dogs and cats.
Mission Statement
TN PET ASSIST' mission is to prevent cruelty to dogs and cats by promoting humane standards through education and example, to provide medical and financial assistance for dogs and cats, aid in the reduction of domestic dog and cat overpopulation, and aid in the enforcement of laws, including the investigation of animal cruelty and abuse. Our main goal is to provide the best possible outcome for the dogs and cats through veterinarians and medical treatments.
Our Work
TN PET ASSIST concentrates on promoting public awareness regarding animal welfare issues, pet health care, disaster preparedness, and most importantly, the necessity of spaying and neutering. We assist financially to those pet owners of low income who simply do not have the money to pay for spaying and neutering. We visit local schools, churches, and civic organizations in an effort to educate the public about what they can do to help the nationwide epidemic of pet overpopulation and dogs and cats who go without medical attention due to either neglect by their owner/s or their owner/s inability to afford medical care for them.
TN PET ASSIST also takes a role in rescue operations during a national disaster. We work closely with the Memphis Humane Society and the (Humane Society of the US), UAN (United Animal Nations) and EARS (Emergency Animal Rescue Services).
Our Support
TN PET ASSIST relies on public help and support. Funds received through grants and individual donations are used to support our rescue operations and it allows us to continue the work we do - SAVING ANIMALS.
TN PET ASSIST of Tennessee would like to continue to provide quality care for the many pets in the state of Tennessee who are in need of medical care or assistance, as well as continue to increase the public awareness regarding animal welfare issues and help in prevention of animal cruelty.
We believe that whether you are a supplier, veterinarian, a business, corporation or an individual, there is a positive role we can all play in assisting dogs and cats in need. At this time, our most urgent need is funding for veterinary care for dogs that have been abused and neglected. We help get these dogs to the vet and provide them with proper veterinary care. Many are in need of surgeries and extensive treatments. It would be greatly appreciated if you decide to support any of our programs and help us care for these animals.
